Special Economic Zone "Gornaya Shoriya" established in Kemerovo region
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin has signed a decree establishing the "Gornaya Shoriya" Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the Kemerovo region, located in the south of Kuzbass.

The decision to create this tourism and recreation-focused SEZ aims to accelerate the launch of investment projects and reinvest funds into new facilities.

The plans include constructing new ski resorts and hotels with investments exceeding 40 billion rubles, which will generate over 4,000 new jobs.

Businesses operating within the SEZ will benefit from tax incentives and reduced rental rates, offering a prime opportunity to become part of Russia’s growing tourism industry. Notably, there are currently 54 such zones across the country, supporting more than 1,300 projects with a total investment portfolio exceeding 6.3 trillion rubles.
